It's been an unusual week this week, with some things that the Lord has been showing me. I would love to take a few minutes and share with you guys. The scripture I would like to share with yall is Acts 4:13- Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
This scripture has really hit me this week, in a couple of ways. First, Peter and John spoke with boldness because of the Holy Spirit. There is a difference in speaking in spiritual boldness and speaking your mind and your opinion just when you feel like it. The Holy Spirit is loving and caring and when He speaks it is with honor, respect, integrity and most importantly, He doesn't offend. Second, point that hit me about this scripture, is that they were uneducated and common. I think alot of people feel they aren't smart enough or special enough to do their callings for God, but God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies who He calls. Third, was that they had spent time with the Lord. People recognized the fact that they had been with Jesus, and that is also true for today. The world looks at Christians with a magnifying glass, and I am starting to see why. We, as Christians should be different, and they should be able to tell that we have been with Jesus.
You know Moses went up on the Mount to talk and spend some time with God, and when he came down he had to put a veil over his face because the people couldn't look at him for the glory of God resinating from his face. That's truly the way I want my life to be. We should strive to lead people to God just by our actions. They will not want the God we have if our God is no different than the one they have. We may be the only bible some people read!! God bless

It's a New Week
Hey Guys, Happy Monday!! How many of us really get up on Monday mornings with a good outlook on the week? How many of us have a certain morning routine we go thru? Get up, use restroom, brush teeth, cup of coffee, get dressed, go to work....Our Bishop made a comment 1 time that "we need to get up and put on the HOLY SPIRIT just like we put our clothes on". Ephesians chaper 6 really "hits the nail on the head", it really gives us the entire wardrobe.. One part of this wardrobe always hits me, and that is the "Belt of Truth" If you don't have the Truth your wardrobe won't stay together. JESUS said HE is the WAY, TRUTH, and the LIFE, and if JESUS ain't the center of your life, you are really missing out... This week I really want to challenge everyone to really add this wardrobe to your closet and apply it everyday. Hey I hope everyone has an awesome week.. God bless!

From the Mic
Hey Guys!! My name is Kellie Seal and I am one of the Worship Leaders here at Fairview Worship Center. This is a new adventure for me to be a blogger!! I am not a Technilogical person, so this is kind of amusing. The reason I decided to do this blog is because I want to share with you guys some of the things that GOD shares with me as I am starting this awesome calling of leading Worship. I take that job very seriously and when I began this journey, God showed me the story of David when he was moving the Ark of the Covenant. It was amazing to me how carrying the very Presence of God was not a 1 man job, he needed help and also how there was bumps along the way. Also, that as much as some of want to carry the Presence of God into Worship, that we can not contain it or try to stable it. Also, that it took blood, sweat and I'm sure tears.. But I think if we could ask David, "Was it worth the journey?" I think his answer would be yes... I'm learning the " JOY IS IN THE JOURNEY"
